Alumni

Absolutely horrible, cost is outrageous. Most Teachers are horrible. The admin is crappy overall and they lie about so many things before you get there to bake you in and trap you.0/10 recommend for anybody. The only thing it is good for/worth is if you’re going the pre-med route because they have a cadaver lab and it’s like the only undergraduate school in the US where you actually get to dissect cadavers which looks great when applying to medical schools.

Student

Smaller class sizes compared to larger universities. This allows for you to have personalized attention from professors, fostering a close-knit learning environment. You may have the opportunity to actively engage in class discussions and build relationships with faculty. A strong sense of community. Students at Alma College may find that they get to know their classmates and professors well, leading to a supportive and collaborative atmosphere.

Campus and vibes

Senior

My time at Alma College was incredible, I truly believe it was the best decision I could have made. The friendships I made at Alma are still some of my closest friendships today, 10 years later. The professors made academic life challenging and rewarding. My experience was incredible, 10/10 would recommend.

Freshman

I love the small class sizes and ability to be involved in many different areas across campus. I really like how you get out what you put in, the more you buy into Alma the more you’re able to get out of it. The only change I would recommend is making on campus jobs more accessible and the process more streamlined. Handshake is a great resource but listings could still be up that have expired and sometimes students simply receive no response to their applications.

Junior

My first 2 years here I loved Alma. It’s a small school where you are able to get close with many of your classmates and the professors. It is very easy to get involved as Alma has many sports teams, clubs, sororities and frats and much more! It is easy to access each place on campus within 2 min and you would never be late. The Alma College campus provides many extracurricular activities.
