Student reviews

Professors

Student

There's SO many professors where I've been in class and thought "I actually cannot believe that this person was hired..." and I think that that says a lot. Many profs are unprofessional, rude, don't seem to care at all about the wellbeing of their students, and some don't even seem to know what they're teaching..

Student

My experience at this college was second to none. The professors were knowledgeable and always available after hours for additional help. This school offers free tutoring in general studies which I used for my math classes.

Student

It is a very welcoming school with very nice people. My professors are very helpful and want their students to succeed. For the most part, the work load for classes is very doable and is simple to figure out.

Campus and vibes

Student

Overall I think Central Maine is a good school however there are some communication issues I believe. I find it difficult to get answers and communicate efficiently with the financial department. All the teachers I have head so far have been amazing and kind.

Student

Overall, my experience at Central Maine Community College helped shape me into who I am today. I learned a lot while I was there about my major, myself, the community, and much more. CMCC is such a welcoming and fun place to study.

Student

Great college nice campus country setting online courses make it very easy to attend. Some teachers could be better, but overall very good school and well priced.

Student

Central Maine Community College are extremely involved in their students and their life after CM. They do everything in their power to give students the most advantage to succeed in their future. Fun activities, sports, and events are always present and creates an atmosphere that is fun for everyone.

Student

I have not gotten to spend much time on campus as I only go once a week. However the staff and educators have all been very friendly, helpful, and engaging. I have enjoyed meeting students at CMCC as well.

Student

I love the people and what I am learning. The housing is amazing as well, but the issue is that it can be really expensive. But I wouldn't change it as everyone tends to only speak good things at times with classes and Student Academics always help out with issues when trying to get transcripts from other schools.

Student

I’ve loved my experience so far with CMCC, the professors I have are really amazing and I really feel par of something here.
