Student reviews

Professors

Freshman

I really enjoy the level of academic caliber at this school. Everyone strives to be the best student they can be without the competitiveness and the stress. Most opportunities go to higher grades, but with the right tools everyone has access to research, internships, and career help.

Freshman

This school does a great job of preparing people for the future. The dance program is particularly noted to me, as they are welcoming and incredibly well known. The community at Conn is rare and appreciated. Everyone student and professor is kind and collaborative. The community areas like coffee shops and study centers are bustling.

Freshman

Not a great school for stem but nice art department. All my professors have been great. Great therapists available. The advising here is not amazing either.

Campus and vibes

Freshman

A beautiful campus, amazing teachers, committed coaches, interesting and friendly students have made my freshman year and Connecticut College a great experience. There is plenty of academic freedom to explore your interests and plenty of academic support to help you along the way. There is a lot of structured support around academic and career advising and many opportunities to study abroad. The very engaged and engaging student body makes you feel welcomed right away.

Sophomore

Connecticut College is a great school if you are looking for community. We are a laied back group of camels. starting my second semester as a sophomore a history professor i have said we are a quiet group. I love the elaborate variety of classes the beautiful campus, the small size and the people.

Sophomore

If you put yourself out there you can find your community. Though the party scene sucks (Campo) we work around it. Conn is a great place to countinue your education, there faculty work hard to get there students to a well place job.

Alumni

The best four years! I was able to pursue my interests and connect with professors on a level I don't think I could have at a larger school. I had a great time socially though I will say people tend to stick to one or two close groups of friends. The campus is gorgeous and I loved living there all four years.

Freshman

Difficult to get off campus. Housing sucks, my friends dorm was declared unlivable due to a sewer flood.
