Student reviews

Professors

Current Student

Professors are pretty good for the most part. With the way the class requirements are, Its hard to really go in depth into a subject, even a major with how many intro classes are required. But campus is beautiful, there are a lot of clubs and organizations to be apart of. Dining hall is good. Dorms are alright. Financial offers are very generous so don't be scared by what the cost is listed as online.

Current Student

The professors are very great most of the time. There are many opportunities for one on one work with professors if you are struggling.

Campus and vibes

Current Student

In my first semester, I have job shadowing opportunities, and the alumni network is insanely helpful for finding connections in my field (communication). The campus is beautiful, especially in the fall, and there’s a real sense of community that you don’t get at bigger schools. Tailgating at the football stadium and then cheering on the Tigers feels like you are part of the team. People look out for each other and want you to succeed. It is pretty ideal!

Current Student

Good school, Not as prestigious as it makes itself seem, but will randomly have some really cool visitors or events. From talking to alumni its definitely not what it used to be and riding off of old reputation. With how little students the school has, athletes make up a large percentage. They can be very cliquey and don't participate on campus as much as other students, plus a waste of money as the only sport that ppl watch is football, maybe people would watch the basketball team if they were good.

Current Student

I am entering into my third year at DePauw University this coming semester. I have had a pretty good experience with DePauw so far. The academic buildings are beautiful and there are many wonderful places on campus to study. The food can be off and on especially if you have food restrictions. The housing is relatively good but can be small.
