The classes in the BAGD program are fun so far - analyzing board games like Sorry! and Senet, learning to code Action Script and forming a team to start working on my first game project has been fantastic. I wish there had been a way for me to have an art class this semester, but I'll have one in the spring, so I'm content with sticking to the recommended curriculum.

Campus and vibes

Freshman

Good environment to get in the mood for drawing. Many industry professionals that are truly passionate about their work. From the application process, there are many staffs, not just teachers, who are especially compassionate to prospective and accepted students. Helped greatly from start to finish in regards to the application and regularly check in on students.

Student

Great Place to Learn – Everyone at the school has been wonderful! The staff and teachers do their best to put the students first, and work hard to make everything run smoothly. The admissions process was easy to understand, and the Financial Aid process went smoothly even though I applied to the school in July and had to rush around a little to get everything worked out for starting this Fall.

Current Student

Digipen is not a school that you go to to socialize. There's little to no social interaction and absolutely no party culture. There are really good professors, and there are genuinely horrible professors. I have learned new things while attending, I cant say whether or not I could have taught myself all of it, but I probably could have most of it.

Cost and value

Current Student

This school is not worth it. It isn't worth your time, your energy and it especially is not worth your money. The only value in going to Digipen is in networking, but there are so few opportunities and they continuously pile work onto you and that shifts your attention away from your actual career so often that you forget what you're even going to classes for.
