East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania

As an adult student at East Stroudsburg University, I have had an excellent experience. The professors are engaging and interested in students. It amazes me at how well prepared they are. I have been a major in both Public Health as well as Digital Media and Design. The campus always has some type of activity.

I am an incoming freshman for the 2023/24 year. I toured many colleges in the North East Region but decided on ESU for several reasons. From my first visit I knew I was home but held off making my decision for a few weeks. The accepted student day and the orientation on June 6th confirmed my decision. ESU is a medium size college but seems like a small home town. I cannot wait to start. If you have not decided definitely take a look at ESU, you wont be disappointed. Warriors Rock!

During my tour at East Stroudsburg, everyone was so nice and the entire campus was open. I was able to ask questions and see every part of the campus. Professors are very nice and accommodating of my athletic schedule. I met many people, and was able to see mu exact room during my tour.

Don’t waste your time applying for this university. It is a major eye-sore in all aspects. From incompetent professors, RA’s who think they are God, pathetic looking dorms, cliques, terrible food and safety. I don’t recommend getting a degree here especially if you’re considering health-care. Those who major in healthcare are often very snobby and in cliques, kiss-ups, in sororities and just plain obnoxious. The professors claim they don’t like those types of students but they do as long as they aspire to be a L&D nurse or ICU.

ESU has provided me with a great college experience. I have loved coming here and interacting with staff and peers. The staff in my program is amazing! They are kind and offer a lot of support. I hold multiple jobs on campus to help pay for my tuition, and the staff are so supportive and helpful. The area is nice! Good walking distance to Walmart, Giant, ect. Great food options around campus!

I love ESU! I came here not really sure what I wanted to do and quickly, I found it. I got involved in clubs and organizations and met so many amazing people. Our Student Activity Association hosts so many amazing and fun events that I loveeeeee going to. I have many jobs on campus as well. There is something for everyone here. I also love how diverse this campus is. I like how safe I personally feel as well. ESU is also very affordable definitely in comparison to other universities. I especially love all the resources that are available to students and I always feel supported and know exactly where to go to get the help I need.
