Professors

Graduate Student

I really enjoyed my time enrolled at ENMU. Online courses were easy to navigate through and the instructors were always available to answer any of my questions or concerns. The bookstore's website was a little outdated however I always received my textbooks on time and before the courses started. Overall, I truly enjoyed my time enrolled at ENMU.

Junior

I first started at ENMU Ruidoso which is a 2 year school. I have since transferred and I am currently enrolled at the University taking classes online. It's been a good experience so far. They have an easy-to-use online program. I have never felt like there has been a lack of communication with professors. The learning portal is great and I have access to all my books online as well. I would recommend this to anyone taking online classes.

Student

I take 2 8 week courses at a time. Total time it is going to take me to finish is 5 semesters. This university isn’t as big as others, so they don’t offer every single class every semester. Less than $3k per semester, I think I pay about $2,300 a semester). However, I am an in-state student. Definitely recommend the program to anyone thinking about it. Clinical sites are chosen by the student. Brush up on APA format. This university has definitely improved my writing skills and format.

Student

The Eastern New Mexico University MSN program with emphasis in Nursing education is excellent. Fully online, with no on-site requirements, and in-state tuition less than $300 per credit hour. The instructors are accessible and dedicated to student success.

Student

ENMU Grad program is an excellent program for students are already employed and need a format that allows them to attend a university without living on campus.

Campus and vibes

Student

Everyone here is very open and friendly. The professors and faculty are kind and open to helping students with any questions or concerns that they might have. There isn't a lot to do in the surrounding town because it is so small, but the school makes up for that with near constant campus sponsored community events. All in all the school has a very friendly and safe environment.

Freshman

My first semester experience at Eastern New Mexico has been a mixture of calm and crazy. I attend ENMU for soccer, my athletic experience has been a roller coaster with lots of ups and downs but I have made so many new friends and being apart of a sports program has made the transition from home life to college so much easier.

Student

I enjoyed my time at Eastern New Mexico University. It is located in a small rural town which has its perks of being safe and convenient. The professors always make an effort to connect with the students and create a wonderful learning environment. Although not the biggest college, the university does offer clubs and activities to get the students involved.

Student

Honestly the best college to attend if you have a low budget and need assistance. Most classes are available online, except the science classes, but the sciences are so worth the time an money. All the professors are there to help you and want to help you succeed. If there are questions, there are plenty of people there to help you out with whatever you possibly need. I loved this college!

Cost and value

Student

The tuition is low, which is ideal for everyone, but especially for non-traditional students who have lots of bills to pay while attending school. I ended up getting my tuition paid for with my pell grant, which was really nice! There are also a few scholarships you can apply for on their website. Overall, I would recommend this university because of the affordability and various online programs. My only complaint is that I wish they offered more online programs.
