Overall i have had a great experience. All of the staff in your department know the students by name and not just a number. It leads to great lifelong relationships and lots of learning opportunity. The athletics are not great and some programs will prioritize athletics over your schooling/ major.

A small school like Huntington University allows you to connect with students with all majors, backgrounds, and ages, as well as, get to know your professors. This university as also a wonderful place to gain knowledge about God as it is a Christ focused school. I enjoy how faith is intertwined with the professors teaching which allows you to grow in faith.

About Huntington University

Huntington University is recognized as having one of the safest campuses in the Midwest, with students feeling secure walking around at any time. Campus police are regularly present, and the small size and close community enhance the feeling of safety and comfort. The university maintains security measures, including locked academic buildings and an escort service.

The Huntington University Honors Program is a community of scholars from various academic backgrounds who love to learn and are skilled in engaging in the liberal arts. The program fosters a culture of challenge and support, providing special curricular and extracurricular opportunities. Incoming freshmen and sophomores with a 3.5 GPA and a teacher’s recommendation are eligible to interview for a place in the Honors Program.
