Professors

Current Student

Great online courses, not enough classes or professors ever though. Some professors were excellent but some expect you to think it’s your only class with the amount of homework and dedication needed to earn an A.

Student

Macomb Community is a great college to attend. The college itself is big on supporting all students. They help you transfer to higher institutions, build networks into future careers, and have amazing professors who are willing to advocate for you.

Student

I was part of the Early College of Macomb program, which gave me a full ride to earn my associate degree a year early by starting college classes in my junior year of high school and continuing for three years. Overall, it was a great experience mainly because our professors had real experience in the fields they taught.

Student

I enjoyed all the communication I had with my teachers and all the help I got when I needed it. They have informative discussions by zoom or Google Meet to answer questions, guide us, and make us feel Confident.

Campus and vibes

Current Student

As a current student who is planning on transferring in fall of 2027, I would say MCC has been a great jumping point to prepare me for university. I get to go to school for free, allowing me to save while still getting credit to pursue my education and future career. The professors I've had have been nothing short of amazing and I am genuinely happy I am a student there.

Student

I like how diverse the campus is and how welcoming everyone is on campus. However, the only thing I would change is the amount of people in each class. For a community college classes can have an overwhelming amount of people at times.

Student

My overall experience with Macomb Community College has been positive. I enjoy the courses and the course day/times the college offers, as well as some of the professors. A change I would like to see is better food options for students, since while they do offer some, it's pretty overpriced for the portion you get.

Student

I love the people here at macomb community college. It is so diverse and there are many welcoming students here. The student life and leadership club helps new students feel at home and welcome here. They are very supportive and overall just great people.

Student

I taken in life—both educational and personal—Macomb Community College stands out as one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Choosing to attend Macomb wasn’t just about saving money or staying close to home. It was about finding a place that would meet me where I was, challenge me to grow, and give me the tools and confidence I needed to take the next step forward.

Student

Went back to college after an extremely long hiatus. This school fit into my life perfectly. I was able to juggle being a wife and mom to four kids while obtaining my degree online. I just graduated this semester.
