I love studying here. My fellow students are the best people ever and so supportive, I've developed many great friendships. The coursework is challenging but the professors want me to succeed and to do well. I love my advisor. He takes the time to get to know me personally and help me advance in my academic career, and always seems happy to help his students.

Student

Maranatha Baptist University is an amazing school, full of amazing individuals. I am beyond thankful for the opportunity to attend Maranatha. One characteristic unique to this university is the teacher's care for their students. They make it a priority to see that their students succeed not only in the classroom, but also in their personal lives. Marantha's teachers desire to know them as individuals, not as numbers on a roster.

Campus and vibes

Student

Maranatha Baptist University, although small in size, has had a huge impact on my life. Maranatha is not just a place for academic learning, but it is a place to grow in your walk with God and with other believers. As a student, you have so many opportunities available to you that you might not be able to get at large public or state schools.

Student

Maranatha is a family, plain and simple. Colleges experience cycles in their enrollment numbers and social life; and, while the years that I attended were on the downward trend of one such cycle, I can only think of a handful of moments that I did not love as an MBU Sabercat. My professors and roommates correspond with me to this day, I return to campus whenever I am in the area, and I am always received as warmly as if I had never left.

Student

I absolutely love the atmosphere on campus. I have so many new friends, and the academics program is rigorous. However, the teachers are also very friendly and able to reach at any time whenever I need help. One other thing that I love is that the school is so ministry-oriented. Not only are we learning so much, but we are also learning how to use what we learn for God's glory and for helping to lead others to Christ.

Student

The faculty and staff are very caring and not only do they want to see you succeed, but they also want to get to know you as a person.

Student

I love how serious this school is about what they believe. The people here truly care about the students, and I have seen it over and over again. They are knowledgable about what they teach, and they are truly passionate for what they do. If you are wanting to go to a Christian university that is a healthy environment for you to grow and learn, absolutely come to Maranatha.

Student

I have had a good college experience at Maranatha. This school is a smaller size for a University, but this allows for the teachers to really engage with the students and allows for a better student experience. The faculty and staff at Maranatha aim to serve the students and help them succeed in their education. This school is centered on Christlikeness and allows the student body to learn about God in a great way.

Student

I love Maranatha. You can tell that the professors and staff truly care about, not just your academics, but you as a person. It's not a huge school so it makes it easier to really get to know people and make both lifelong best friends and friends that you could maybe keep in touch with.
