Student

RISD has great teachers, yes. RISD efs teachers teach you technical skills? Not necessarily. As a self taught artist who lacks technical skills, there was a big hurtle. Despite this, teachers were encouraging. Yet this is a little issue compared to their overbooking, lack of help and obvious dept.

Student

very challenging and rigorous workload but I am very lucky and glad to attend such a school. Very professor based, your experience differs with each. Tight community

Cost and value

Student

very expensive, financial aid is not generous and complicated to get. while i advise you take what you can get from this school, look elsewhere for the aid you need. housing is also very expensive, but it's more expensive to live off campus. still, if it's really for you, i think it's worth the cost.
