Professors

My overall experience was amazing! Each teacher really took the time to teach us and make sure we were understanding what we were learning. It’s nice to have that small campus to have that one on one with the teachers! The staff is very helpful as well!

Student

State fair is a great college it has small class sizes making it easier for questions in classes and the professors are great and always willing to help.

Student

I like that the professors get to know their students . I also enjoy that everything is close and easy to get to

Student

I like that there are many programs offered through state fair. I’m glad that there is a two year program to from LPN to RN which is what I’m pursuing. What I would like to see change is that state fair offers more scholarships to lower income students and families.

Student

The nursing program at State Fair Community College provides excellent instruction which is proven with their continued high rates of passing NCLEX. The quality of education also shows to the surrounding hospitals who are often reaching out in attempt to encourage our students to work for them.

Campus and vibes

Student

I have been attending State Fair for a semester as a full-time student. I do not have any complaints at this time. I have heard many good things about SFCC, and during my time with the school they have been flexible and easy-going when it comes to class presence. Weather has made it impossible to attend in person at times, and the professors have allowed us to meet via Zoom online to get credit for attendance.

Student

This campus is in a supe safe town. The professors are super nice and very helpful. The housing is amazing along with the food. I would like more activities on campus, but it is still a very good campus.

Student

A lot of good clubs. I would like to see more opportunities for students. The school is very good otherwise.

Student

Since the moment of being notified that I've been accepted into State Fair, all interactions with the staff on the Sedalia campus in preparation for the fall 2023 semester have been above great. My counselor in the major I plan on pursuing went above and beyond to answer any questions that I had concerning what or when do I have to do necessary tasks. So far everything has been awesome and I do greatly encourage anybody to apply. Great things await!!

Cost and value

Student

It's great and I'm really grateful that I have these experiences to go to college but some funding would be nice.
