TCC is an awesome school. I have enjoyed all of my teachers. I used my GI bill but even if I didnt the tuition is very manageable, my wife is going to be taking classes here next year and we will be paying for it. Criminal justice is pretty easy here it is a lot of common sense based. If you pay attention and do your work, then you will pass. I did online classes and some in person and both went smoothly in my 2 years I have been here. Never had problems with paperwork or my gi bill going through. Definetly...

Alumni

The hvac program is a JOKE! No one will hire you after graduation. I went on an interview and the interviewer informed me ( after I told him I was a TC graduate) that they did not hire TC graduates. I asked Why? His response was " Because they come in here waving their diplomas and certificates, and they DONT KNOW ANYTHING, AND CANT DO ANYTHING!" And this must be true, because NO-ONE seems to want to hire me or ANY of the guys I graduated with! I have compared notes, and NONE of my classmates have been hired!...

Student

Tidewater Community College offers a variety of courses for those looking to further their education simultaneously along with other pathways. I completed two online courses while enrolled in high school and was able to get an advantage over my fellow juniors.

Student

I think Tidewater Community College is a great school to get your next degree, certificate or even take a few online classes to sharpen your skills for your current work position. The staff and professors genuinely care about the student as a whole not just what their grade is in the class!
