Tuskegee University was a beautiful experience but is not for the faint of heart. You have to be willing to put your best foot forward regardless of the task at hand. It is expected of you to know your resources but to always make your best effort before just running to your professor. Tuskegee University is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all faculty, staff, students, and visitors. The Tuskegee University Police Department (TUPD) is located on campus and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The university employs a variety of security measures to protect the campus community.

Tuskegee University houses an undergraduate honors program for qualified rising sophomores with at least a cumulative 3.2 GPA. The Tuskegee University Office of Undergraduate Research (TUOUR) coordinates University-Wide Undergraduate Research activities from all disciplines in STEM and non-STEM related fields, supports undergraduate and faculty research.

Tuskegee University is home to nearly 3,000 students from around the U.S. and over 30 countries.
