Student reviews

Campus and vibes

Current Student

There isn't a ton of activity on campus, especially at night and on the weekends, but I feel that's the typical small college vibe. People are very friendly, the professors and facilities good.

Junior

Wartburg College is a great college to attend if you are looking to receive an education along with follow your college athletic dreams! It offers many different opportunities while on campus, whether it is to help you with your educational needs, serve the community around you, provide you entertainment, and so much more.

Alum

Loved my years at Wartburg. I had 2 nephews and a niece who attended and graduated from Wartburg. We all agree we were prepared by Wartburg.

Sophomore

Most of the professors really care about their students. I had a hard adjustment to college life and a lot of the people made me feel a lot better. Everyone is so nice and the culture there is amazing.

Freshman

I love Wartburg College, I have grown as an individual by challenging myself to make new friends and try new things. The people at Wartburg are what make it so great, I have found life long friends, and have role models that are helping me set myself up for success.

Cost and value

Student

While the tuition is rather high, everything in/about the college feels cheap: The food is poor quality; many of the dorms, if not the college itself, are in desperate need of a remodel; the band program has one set of instruments shared between two bands. Overall, the college feels overpriced.
