Student reviews

Professors

Student

WKU is a disaster. The Professors have no clue as to what’s going on and rarely available to assist you in the classes. I have dealt with multiple advisors who set me up with wrong schedules or poor choice of classes. This horrendous advising caused me to delay my graduation by 2 YEARS! Stay away from WKU if you can or you’ll end up advising yourself, teaching yourself, and going into debt all on yourself. The WKU has zero care for its students.

I’ve also appreciated the many opportunities for involvement whether through volunteering, student organizations, or leadership roles that have allowed me to connect with others who share similar goals.

My experience at Western Kentucky University (WKU) has been very positive. I really enjoy the beauty of the campus it’s a pleasant place to walk, study, or just spend time. One of the best things about WKU is that you don’t have to be part of a group or organization to enjoy campus life. Even if you’re not very involved, there are plenty of quiet spots and events you can enjoy on your own.
