About Bloomfield College

The Office of Security at Bloomfield College of Montclair State University provides uniformed, unarmed security officers whose primary function is to prevent crime on campus and protect members of the campus community. The Bloomfield Police Department conducts routine vehicle patrols 24 hours per day. Campus housing is secure and dorms can only be accessed with secure key cards.

The Bloomfield College Honors Program is made up of high-achieving, community-oriented, and intellectually curious students. The purpose of the Honors Program is to create an academic environment that encourages and motivates students to shine in their academic work and to reach their full potential as leaders and socially responsible members of society. Honors Program students enjoy unique perks, including access to academic and study abroad scholarships, a dedicated study lounge, and opportunities to participate in co-curricular programs.
