Student reviews

Professors

Current Student

Overall, I've heard from four year students that our education quality rivals, if not surpasses their own. This school works for those who are willing to work on themselves and to learn a passion.

Current Student

Last year I took online classes at NHTI to complete my required courses before starting my dental assisting program. My experience has been great overall. The professors were understanding and helpful, even with online learning, which made it easier to stay on track.

Current Student

The professors are doing their best, but the school needs more funding; at least, the dental hygiene program does. The community college system in New Hampshire seems to be somewhat low quality.

Current Student

My expectations of college courses are not fully met due to disorganized methods. I have only been in college during the pandemic times, and there was a lot of disruption caused by the implication of remote learning.

Campus and vibes

Current Student

Both as a full-time student and as a Resident Assistant, I have seen both perspectives of the school. Many have said that the way to do college is to do two years at a community college and then go off to a four year, and I have taken their advice to heart. Now, as I stand on the precipice of moving on to step two of that plan, I can reflect on the past few years at a community college.

Current Student

Housing is sufficient, but you need to be more willing to create your own fun. You will learn a lot emotionally, socially, and academically. The professors here all care about your success and work diligently to ensure that you have a good experience.

Current Student

I love my campus. I also loved most of my professors and I enjoy the extra curricular activities they have on campus. I find that the staff/faculty around campus are very helpful too and truly want to help you succeed.

Current Student

As an a recent graduate, I regret living on campus. The campus experience shall I say the worse of all following by it's stupid hiring RA process and the candidates of actual in position. The whole residence life office is largely incompetent in every single perspective.

Current Student

Professors of my particular major are great and the professionalism of them is high among community colleges. I would not recommend this college to anyone who has a high social interest, due to a high dysfunctional student group being nothing but the older high school students.

Current Student

I also met with some advisors in person, and they were extremely kind and supportive, taking the time to answer my questions and guide me through the process of preparing for my program. NHTI has a welcoming environment and offers good resources for students.
