My experience at South Dakota Mines (SDM) was amazing. I was surrounded by brilliant people who challenged me daily by helping me discover strengths I didn't know I had and passions I never expected to pursue. One of the things I love most about SDM is how small it is.

The school has good connections with industries which provide good internship opportunities for networking. I have had the opportunity to intern at The Mammoth Site of Hot Springs, South Dakota and this summer I am doing an internship with Deadwood History Incorporated in Deadwood, South Dakota.
