Alumni

Had Tulane disclosed Spring Scholars was an option for early decision applicants I would not have let me child apply ED. What an incredibly manipulative way to ask kids to demonstrate interest in a school and then use that interest to have them make up for lost tuition. I looked over everything on the admission page and nothing says applying ED can result in a compromised inferior college experience by being admitted as a Spring Scholar.

I transferred here and it was the best decision I've ever made. I couldn't imagine a better environment to go to college in. Of course, we live up to the party school reputation, but it doesn't mean you have to be a party animal to enjoy it. I will note that the admissions here are incredibly focused on demonstrated interest. They want to push the acceptance rate down by increasing their yield (which has worked very well).
