Campus and vibes

Student

Wichita State University has great food. Our dining hall is always packed because the dorm cafeteria serves great food that feels like a home cooked meal. The student center offers a wide variety of fast food restaurants for students on the go.

Student

Food options in Shocker Hall are the best of all the universities I visited.

Student

housing is a little dull

Student

i have only been to the main campus a handful of times, but the dining in the student center is to die for. they have so many options.

Student

the food is pretty good. there's always stalwarts like pizza and hamburgers, as well as some exotic dishes to make international students feel more comfortable here. there's a fresh salad bar, soup, cereal, and more. on campus, we have taco bell, pizza hut, the only chick-fil-a in wichita, and breakfast/yogurt joint called fastbreak, a blimpies sandwich shop, and greek and chinese food joints as well.

Student

Overall pretty great school! There are a lot of opportunities to get involved on campus whether it be through clubs and organizations or through employment. They have a lot of preparatory programs to help people get prepared for their careers and many professors offer opportunities to work in their labs or on their research.

Student

I love Wichita State University. I enjoy campus life, and I feel like there are often fun events going on at campus. There are a lot of events where we celebrate diversity. Restaurants in the Wichita area are good, as well as a few shopping centers, and activities.
