Professors

At Joliet Junior College, I am provided with sources and materials I need to grow not only as a student but also as an individual navigating my way through this new chapter of my life.

Student

Pretty good for mostly being online. The classes worked well with my work schedule so I can study and make money for studying too.

Student

Great community college their academics are very good. I did the respiratory program and loved it. Highly recommend.

Student

At Joliet Junior College I had an amazing experience. My teachers always seemed like they cared about not only me accademicly but also personaly. The experience is different than other colleges due to the small class sizes and student teacher connections.

Campus and vibes

Student

I love Joliet Junior College. Being able to take courses here for a fraction of the price and then being able to transfer to my intended 4-year school is such a relief. All the professors and faculty are so nice and truly do care about their students. All my classes are super easy to find, and the campus itself is really pretty.

Student

Great atmosphere for students just starting college. Even though it is a junior college you still get the experience of a university. Just because it has the word junior in it doesn’t make it any different to other colleges.

Student

Overall, it is a pretty good school to go to if you are unsure where or what you want to do. It's helped me save a lot of money, so it is a good financial decision. A few complaints I have are some professors I have experienced are absolutely awful and there isn't much socialization in campus life.

Student

This college offers numerous courses for many majors and has great selection when it comes to finding the professor you're looking for. The campus is always super tidy and the campus grounds are very safe, whether it is day or night. Most importantly, Joliet Junior College has been a major help in funding education for low income families.

Student

I took classes as an early entry high school student and it was great. I loved all my professors and it was very affordable. Classes didn't feel excessively hard. But there's like little to no involvement in student life. Good for getting an affordable education but don't expect much of a college experience.

Cost and value

Student

Joliet Junior College was a lot better than I initially thought it would be. I knew I wanted to go to college but I also did not want to pay a lot. Joliet Junior College was affordable and I got my degree with very little difficulty.
