I have a positive overall experience at Lorain Count Community College. They have a great college credit plus program and nice variety on online class options. Most of the professors I’ve dealt with are helpful and not overly demanding or rude. Counselors are helpful and do the best they can. Would highly recommend if looking for an associates degree. The classes are not breeze through classes by any means, they are tough and make you learn the material.

Campus and vibes

Student

My first thought when I walked inside for the first time is that it was huge; at least for me, who'd grown up in a tiny town. My professors are amazing, super kind and understanding and make seemingly boring classes actually kind of fun. The library is my favorite place to be.... It's large and has plenty of computers and spaces to study. The courtyard is super cool, as well. Tables surround a big water fountain, and there are some cool spots hidden away in foliage. They should definitely get some A/C in those buildings, though. Can get pretty stuffy. But overall, I'm glad I picked LCCC. It's pretty cool.

Student

Humble, neat, genuine school that provides great student service. They have so many options career wise and will work with you. Very flexible with scheduling classes. Great advisors fit just for you. Kind people.
