Student reviews

Professors

College freshman

I have not applied for jobs or internships through the school but once I get into the business school, I hope to get some assistance with networking and be able to use these services. The admissions process was fairly easy and I was a transfer student so probably easier to get accepted.

College junior

To get into my program I had to declare a pre-majorstatus, take a certain class, and use writing from that class to apply for the major. Though it was nerve-wracking to wait several weeks for an official answer, it was nevertheless a good admissions system. Everything expected of the students was clearly spelled out, and as long as you adhered to the criteria, you were accepted.

Campus and vibes

Freshman

Originally, I was supposed to go to NC State for college; however, I decided to apply to UNCW last minute and ended up getting accepted. It was hard for me to decide due to the fact that NC State has a great Biology program; however, I just knew from the bottom of my heart that I belong at UNCW. Overall, I am very pleased with my decision and so is everyone else.

Junior

I would say my experience at University of North Carolina Wilmington has been nothing short of amazing. Wilmington is a very lively and bubbly city and the student life around campus is so much fun! I have really enjoyed meeting new people and all of the opportunities UNCW has brought me over the past couple years and strongly encourage other people to chose this school.

Junior

Here at Wilmington I have made some of my lifelong best friends and already through just over 2 years have created memories that will last a lifetime. Being able to have the opportunity to get a great education and also be able to live in this area is just mind boggling.
