Campus and vibes

Current Student

There are many amazing people who attend at this school a couple of which I've made friends. In terms of athletic events the school could do a better job at promoting however I'm not much interested in those regardless. The campus is well maintained and the staff are all great people. Great collage!!!

Current Student

My experience with Utah Tech has been very positive so far. I took a campus tour and was impressed by how welcoming, organized, and informative it was. The campus felt modern and supportive, and the staff took time to answer questions and make students feel comfortable. Beyond the tour, Utah Tech has been great to work with over email and online.

Student

The campus is right in the heart of St. George as such there are so many things to go and do in the local area. The curriculum is more focused on hands on learning over traditional lectures which i like much more. There's always something happening whether it be booths, games, clubs or any other activities the campus always feels alive.

Student

My experience at Utah Tech University has been very positive overall. Growing up in St. George, I have always loved this community, so being able to stay close to home while pursuing my degree has meant a lot to me. The warm weather, familiar surroundings, and supportive environment has made my transition into college feel easy.

Student

Utah tech gave me a sense of community and culture. Having a diverse group of students and faculty made it easier for me to stay connected to my true self and take in the full experience of a full-time college student. With the career that I had chosen in healthcare, there was a lot of days I found stressful and hard to look at the positives.

Student

I would like there to be more on-campus places to eat. The housing is fine but there could be more storage and as always the dorms could be bigger. I like how there is lots of areas to play sports around the dorms.

Student

Applying to Utah Tech University was fast and easy. I didn't have to pay an application fee. I was accepted almost immediately and was contacted right away to start enrolling in classes and applying for financial aid to attend. I had to complete a survey about my life and what I enjoy and what I see myself learning for the future and submitting it only helped UTU enroll me in classes that were directly needed for my degree as well as interest course for the general core requirements.
