Other examples include their welding program which offers excellent instructors who provide great hands on instruction getting you better and better at the trade.

TMCC has made it easy for me to access college level credits for pre-requisites for my graduate degree. I have had some good experiences with getting into classes and some not so great experiences. I have had some great professors and not so great professors. I have enjoyed going to the fitness center, it is small but has all the things that you need within a gym. I would love to see more guidance to newer professors to help set them up for success with teaching.

Student

When going to Truckee Meadows Community College I have experienced significant growth. During the summer I took a summer program called the summer bridge. I met a lot of new people there that I can now call friends and have met new professors that I can rely and get help from. One of my mentors is Chris Weston, he is now my mentor for the Nevada Promise Scholarship and was my instructor for TMCC with the class EPY 101 during the summer. I experienced significant growth and I'm planning to try my best to earn my degree. The campus is very nice and organized, I know where all my classes are in the span of a day and know where to go to get food. To be honest, I would not change a thing as its very beautiful.
